Phil Cooke-Maximize Your Influence

Phil Cooke is one of my favorite show guests and one of the few Hollywood voices that I’ll listen to. He’s recently released a new book, Maximize Your Influence: How to Make Digital Media Work for Your Church, Your Ministry, and You . Now don’t let the title fool you, this isn’t just for Pastors or Media Leaders-it’s for Husband’s, Dad’s and Regular Joes like me!

To describe 2020 as a hot mess is quite kind. Many have been displaced and reset-trust me, it’s weird around here too! Thankfully Phil has some insight to help us get our feet back under us as well as seeing through the fog and pressing on.

I saw the cover and I knew I’d need to read it! Jason Sautel, author of The Rescuer joins me for a chat about Life before and after Jesus, along with his time in the Firehouse and how he came to know the Truth on day.

Firefighting isn’t the easiest of jobs in the US. Things you see and do stick with you for years. Jason was doing his job without a savior, and it caught up with him. In this conversation we peel back the layers to look inside and delve into the story of The Rescuer.

Todd Weaver: Overflowing Success

Todd Weaver was just like the rest of us-swimming in debt, striving for freedom and longing for a different life for his family. One day while channel surfing he stumbled over the Christian television show “Fixing the Money Thing” that originated from a semi-local church. Todd was quite intrigued by the program and the teaching he heard.

It didn’t take too long for Todd’s family to begin attending the new church. Soon enough he found himself digging into the Scriptures finding truth there he’d never been taught before. As the Word says, Seek and you’ll find! He did!

Josh Gagnon: It’s Not Over!

Pastor Josh dropped by the show to talk about his new book It’s Not Over. Through these last 12 months I’ve found that God’s timing is sometimes ridiculously peculiar and Pastor Josh shares how he released his new book just two weeks before the Covid-19 madness began here in the States (so much for a book tour, huh?).

This timely offering is one that was written well before you ever knew you needed to read it! It’s Not Over is a great reminder of how Jesus is there, in the tomorrow’s waiting for us to step into the future, confidently knowing He will never leave nor forsake us.
